A public synthetic endpoint is now verifiable
The site now exposes an HTTP MCP endpoint supporting initialization, tool discovery, tool calls, resources, prompts, ping, notifications, and batched JSON-RPC requests. Ten tools return structured output from public synthetic data and evidence records.
The search and fetch tools follow the citation-oriented compatibility contract used by OpenAI knowledge workflows. A separate scenario tool compares changes in MRR, ARR, collections, and risk while exposing every assumption.
The endpoint has no Stripe credentials, customer accounts, write operations, or external business data. Its role is evaluation and demonstration.
The review package is prepared
Listing copy, tool descriptors, annotations, security boundaries, starter prompts, eleven positive evaluation cases, five negative cases, one hundred twenty-four gold cases across two benchmarks, support, privacy, terms, and remote Registry metadata are public.
Prepared materials are not platform approval. OpenAI identity verification, tool scanning, domain challenge, and final submission must occur inside Marco's verified account. Registry publication requires the matching GitHub identity.
The remaining failures are distribution and key guidance
The npm registry returned HTTP 404 for indie-metrics-mcp on July 27, 2026. A release cannot be claimed until a package is published and installs successfully in a clean environment.
The repository README still leads with a broad live-secret-key example. It should lead with a restricted key, list the exact read resources used by the source, explain rotation and revocation, and warn against sharing credentials in chat.
Adoption evidence has not been invented
The ten-founder pilot is recruiting and records zero confirmed participants. No testimonials, founder logos, outcome claims, or case studies exist yet.
The next credible proof is observed use: recruit consenting founders, record reproducible questions and corrections, publish only approved quotes, and report aggregate findings without identifying participants.
